Dude

This one interests me because success can be its own kind of fantasy. A man can build an entire life on confidence, numbers, and appearances, then one shock to the system reveals what was solid and what was only performance. I like stories where reinvention is forced on a character who never would have chosen it.

Author’s Note

Day Trader Dude feels like a story about control meeting reality. On the surface, it is about money, status, and a man who believes he has mastered risk. Underneath, it is about identity, illusion, reinvention, and what happens when the life you built so carefully is suddenly stripped down to something much simpler, stranger, and more human.
