Friends since being high school football heroes, three middle-aged dreamers try their luck at playing weekend bull-riders. Will their friendship last for another eight seconds?

Glory Days

I have always liked characters who are a little past their prime but not past hope. There is something funny and moving about people who know better and do it anyway. Glory Days lives in that space, somewhere between memory, bravado, and affection for the friendships that survive long after youth is gone.

Author’s Note

Glory Days is a story about friendship, aging, pride, and the dangerous comedy of men who still believe they have one more shot at being legendary. It has warmth, regret, and a slightly reckless spirit, but at its center it is really about loyalty, memory, and the stubborn refusal to let go of the version of yourself that once felt invincible.
